Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) has selected Accenture to lead its digital transformation path. ABFRL is the parent company of Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, and Peter England.
With Accenture’s ERP system, ABFRL’s business processes will be streamlined, and its data will be more easily accessible in a statement on Tuesday. In addition, this relationship will help ABFRL increase the visibility and accessibility of data across its operations.
Consolidating different technological systems and multiple fulfilment channels would be made easier with the help of the new ERP system for ABFRL, which owns brands like Louis Philippe and Van Heusen throughout its outlets in India.
According to the press release, SAP’s ERP platform (SAP S/4HANA) would be used to integrate ABFRL’s manufacturing and retail operations into a digital core.
Today’s fast-changing fashion sector requires the ability to detect and respond swiftly to shifts in consumer tastes. Praveen Shrikhande, ABFRL’s Chief Digital and Information Officer, said that the consolidation and digitalisation of our main ERP system would help us improve agility and responsiveness in a digital-first environment.
